This Sawmill operated in Spokane Wa. From early 1900s to the mid 1940s. The mill operated on the current site of Gonzaga university. The mill was destroyed by fire and never rebuilt.
Parts of this complex are still in place today. The long buildings (center image) were dry sheds. These buildings were salvage around 2015 for the large beams used in original construction. The main sawmill building (right of center, upper) was only recently dismantled, this has been replaced with a modern operation.
The lewiston Sawmill complex had 5 Heardrigs. Headrigs consist of a carriage (right lower) to carry the logs through a bandmill (center)
